There is already a dedicated Australia Post shop on the north shore that is ONLY for sending parcels to China and the ONLY 2 things they stock in-store to sell are baby formula and vitamins
UNBELIEVABLE!

What is so special about this particular baby formula? The Chinese make everything else, cheap, why not their own baby formula?

Must be the money they are getting for posting it off, with the blessing of their very own AustPost ... or something.

The way things are going, we will (eventually) have Chinese-Aussies running The Federal Government ... or at least State Government/s. How sad will that be?

Police have charged a fifth person over their alleged involvement in a global crime syndicate accused of orchestrating the $1 million theft of baby formula across Sydney.

The 31-year-old man was arrested at Sydney Airport on Saturday after he arrived from China.

It comes after the arrest of a woman, 29, earlier this month and a 53-year-old man last December.

The arrests were part of Strike Force Dungv, set up by NSW Police to investigate the theft and distribution of baby formula and vitamins.

Police will allege the two men and women were part of an organised syndicate receiving more than $1 million worth of stolen products, including baby formula and health supplements, which were then on-sold overseas.

Last February, detectives were tipped off by retailers about the coordinated theft of the items across Sydney.
And again I ask why we have a dedicated Chinese Post Office which caters only to Chinese shipments and sells only baby food and vitamins. Is this not encouraging/supporting this behaviour?
The concept store is aimed at Chinese personal shoppers, known as ‘Daigou’, in an attempt to cash in on the country's spending powers.

Australia Post has opened a concept store in Sydney, designed exclusively for personal shoppers to buy products and ship to China.

Located in the Lower North Shore suburb of Chatswood, the store is stocked with items including baby formula and health goods. (vitamins)

Chinese military personnel were spotted unloading boxes of highly sought after Australian baby formula onto their warship the day before leaving Sydney Harbour.

The photograph, taken Thursday, shows military staff unloading boxes of baby formula from a van, along with boxes of whitening sheet face masks and Devondale brand long life milk.

Australian brand baby formula has become a highly sought after product in China over the last ten years, after a mass milk poisoning in the region led to the injury and deaths of many babies.

Three Chinese warships quietly entered Sydney Harbour on Monday morning, where they landed at the Garden Island naval base. The arrival surprised many Australians, including the premier of NSW Gladys Berejiklian, who wasn’t aware the city would be playing host to the vessels and their 700 crew.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who was on a trip to the Solomon Islands when the ships arrived, downplayed public reaction and assured reporters their arrive was not a “surprise” visit.

“It may have been a surprise to others, but it certainly wasn’t a surprise to the Government,” he said.

“They were returning after a counter drug trafficking operation in the Middle East.”

The extraordinary photo of personnel loading the formula and other products, including boxes of face masks and long life milk, was taken on Thursday ahead of the warships exit from the harbour on Friday afternoon.

Now we are just letting them fill up their warships with baby formula too?

As for the visit not being a surprise to the government apparently it was a huge surprise to Sydney's Premier and Mayor. Why weren't they informed that 3 Chinese warships were going to sail into Sydney Harbour?

well as long as its paid for and not stolen I would rather the babies in CHina were fed decent formula after what happened to their supplies

for it to go on war ships is weird I grant you...lolol better than bombs though..

we dont seem to have any problems manufacturing this product and the manufacturers must be thrilled with the sales....

perhaps if it was exported via normal channels it could end up in the hands of people who would doctor it....

its just a thought.

Our shelves are bare here Cods and Aussie mums can't get it for their own babies because of the Chinese. Sorry but I would rather see it on our shelves so that Aussies who need it can buy it and if the Chinese want to buy it they can go direct or clone it like they clone everything.

If the manufacturer can't keep our supermarket shelves stocked they obviously can't keep up with the demand by the Chinese.

Whatever happened to feeding your baby "food"?

My wife breast fed our children until they reached an age where they could digest real food.
Then she cooked and prepared real food for our children

Vegetables, meats, nuts and even fruit were processed down to a paste and fed to the children until they could eat solids.

When solids were introduced, it was in bite sized chunks until they could cut their own.

Baby formula?
Didn't ever use it.
The only baby food we ever used were krusks or however that is spelt.
Dry solid bread sticks to give them something to chew on.

Oh, and the toughest of tough steak
Cut into strips and cooked with our steaks
The kids chewed them until they were virtually white.
No teeth, no choking on meat chunks.

My kids eat anything now
They experiment with different foods and with all my wog mates feeding them virtually anything they are, they had exposure to some of the most wonderful food.

Funny though
None of them like Lebanese sweets, too sweet for them.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

To get a truck load indicates this was planned as part of normal stores and the truck must have gone to collect direct from the manufacturer. From recollection, these boats had just come off patrolling for people on boats with children so perhaps it is plausible that they had a genuine need to re-supply baby product. Suspicious minds might think they were plundering to exploit the market in China.

Sydney is somewhat out of their way on a trip home from the Middle East and from all I have read they had supposedly been on a counter drug trafficking operation and immediately prior to travelling all the way around to Sydney Harbour had been conducting live-firing exercises west of Australia in the South Indian Ocean.

Some detour.

I have not read anything about them supposedly patrolling for boats with children on board.

Perhaps you could provide a link?

It is what I seem to recall being said. I might be totally out of order.
