My grandmother wanted a new fridge. My grandfather reckoned there was nothing wrong with the fridge they had.
Grandad said she had her own money so if she wants a new fridge she should buy it. Nana reckoned Grandad should pay for it.
So they argued for 15 years over a fridge Nana wanted and Grandad wouldn't buy.

They were married for over 50 years, then one morning he got in his ute and went up the farm, leaving her at the house in Sylvania.
They didn't divorce, but he never went back to Sylvania and she never went up the farm again (MacDonald Valley, near St Albans ... near Wiseman's Ferry on Hawksbury River). And she never bought the fridge she wanted either.
