I have known Mantra for many years hereabouts and she has never attacked people and is generally a nice person. Worthy of some respect. Your attacks on her just mimic Aussie's attacks. All are baseless and designed to hurt.
She is made of tougher stuff than you realise. I hate bullies like you who think they can hide behind their screens and just seek to hurt other people for your own pleasure. You need a good ass kicking and be beaten until you wake up to yourself. Putting down the beer may help. These outbursts are clear signed of the demented mind under the influence of a substance that has been abused for a long time.
I cannot see what Annie sees in you. It must be her mothering instincts and pity that keeps her drawn to you.
Wimp.
It's nice to see chivalry is still alive - thanks SN.
Emotionally Monk is still a little boy - some women like this but others can't tolerate it. Sadly he is everything you say and as the gaps between his binges close, it will become harder for him to put his posts into perspective. The big question is - do we tolerate it or not? Personally I find him highly offensive when he's on a rant, but other members might find him entertaining?

You are a troll Monk, and have nothing to offer but banal snide irrelevant remarks.
What a moron you are.
Could it be the company you're keeping online?

I think it is more than just brands these days you need to provide the model numbers you are looking at and compare. As far as quality of build ...etc I still have to see it and touch it before making my decision. I purchased a Del with good specs a year ago... the keyboard feels like crap and it moves when you type. Other Dells did not have this problem.

And thanks Mantra, SN, AIA, freediver for all your responses, and I will check out that site you recommended SN, it might settle the Toshiba -vrs- Medion debate in this house once and for all.

Mines a Toshiba A300 btw, and I have not had a scrap of trouble with it , it's been very stable, even when I was going through my alternative OS phase, and had 2 OS's on board.
The only thing I can fault it for is the limited battery life.

A lot of laptops seem to have this problem. It's a pity batteries seem to die just after the warranty period has expired. Still unless you're travelling it's not a major issue.

No, the battery is fine, it's just it doesn't last as long as some when out and about.
I get a couple of hours out it give and take, then I have to recharge it.
But for home use, it's fine, as I can just plug it in and out as I please and run it directly from the power supply.

My laptop is a Toshiba with Win7. I still use the PC with XP for emailing and other stuff.
