All I can suggest is that you check in here

You will need to register, but at least we can stay in touch.

I may be reducing my blogging anyway. I have this strange feeling it's taken over my life a bit more than I'd like.

But of all the blog sites I've been on, this is the best.

All the best to all.

Well I think the ABC provided a good service when blogs were new or newish.

Now there are so many other ways people communciate and discuss, blogs a nd forums are on there way out as being popular. Peopl spend most of their on line time on Facebook.

The real pity was the SSSF shuting down, the new format sucks.

I am wondering if leftard (heavy) political censorship has anything to do with it, given some of the remarks posted by quite a few of their once happy regulars.
:?

Formats don't make communities, people make communities, and from what I can see this community were rather unhappy about the ABC's decision to pull the plug on their forum.

Perhaps it was simply a case of the "community" not projecting their Labor dictated ABC ideals?

That he thinks that Ozpol is the best when it is full of mozzoaks and gist list dipshits is a sad indictment

Well they seem to be closing everything down since labor got in.

Maybe Labor voters don't express enough lefty opinions on ABC resouces so that is a good enough reason to close them down...

Unfortunately there is a little bit too much censorship from the left at times and this could have something to do with the decline of blogs and participation in forums. Still you have to put up some boundaries. If there was no censorship the media would be filled with slanging matches and the Courts full of litigants suing each other for slander.

Or perhaps people just get a little bored posting basically the same old thing year after year?
