I reckon the grandsons of Kadoka can still put enough hurt into anyone who wants to end our Larrikin spirit for some time yet.

They are showing a hell of a lot of metal in Afghanistan.

And with good humor.

That is courage distilled.

And economically I don't think our image could be better.

We are fair but responsible.

We give what we can but we do not spend our way out of what we can not.

I can bitch about this place, (this too is the Australian way) but I can't think of another country that is doing things so right.

When I hear my son's Australian accent, I think of my father.

It does not get better than that.

I like this response. Worth framing or putting on a post card and sending to the troops and expats abroad.
