There was another case a year ago when an American "hero" was killed by another American "hero" in Ukraine, I posted details in ozpolitics forum.

Abdelfetah Nourine ( Jihadi Adam) will no longer be able to live a normal life in the west given his treacherous cowardess. This man isn't Australian, he's one of many treacherous parasites who use our country as a means to hurt westerners, their true perceived enemies. I would be interested to know how he come to be known as Jihadi Adam, clearly he was called this for a reason, aren't our military experts, psychiatrists supposed to ensure radicalised individuals who are a potential threat with nicknames like Jihadi Adam don't have the opportunity to harm like this? He'll assume a new identity in Iran or some other Islamic country that accomidates terrorists. He'll be a national hero there.
I can't believe the negligence, not just the fact that he did this, but the fact that he was able to slip away and has now gone into hiding. This stuff instills poor morale within our troops. They have enough to worry about, let alone having to deal with potential traitors murdering them from within.
Sounds like a spy movie plot.
