First of all...
I have always stated believe what you want to believe...
I would tend to believe what I read on ZH before I believed the absolute garbage that is
trotted out by numerous sections of the Australian media.
Zero Hedge has been around for quite a while.
If you have incidents of fake news on Zero Hedge, then trot them out....
Lets have a look at them...
One of the contributors to Zero Hedge is Jim Rickards.
Rickards I would believe before any of the "experts" in the Australian media.
If you want to disbelieve ZH and prefer Australian News...thats fine..
Youve made that decision....
Secondly
I feel that any comments on media studies are a waste of time.
Anyone can secure a degree in media studies, and then work for a media outlet.
They will be told what to do and how to do it by their employers.
If their employers insist on a certain slant being placed on a news article, then the journalist
will obey.
If the journalist wishes to sensationalize or dramatize their reporting then we have to
deal with it.
This is delving into the integrity and transparency of the media.
This is a waste of time as journalists will continue to perform as they please.
They will simply tell us they are doing their job, and the public have a right to be
informed of the news.
They will continue to prey on public tragedy...
AND tell us theyre just doing their job...
Its the manner in which they do their job which attracts attention...
The media is never ostracized for their performance.
We are probably going around in circles.
It is what it is...

I would add that every time SKY News reader Ashleigh Gillon comes on I switch her off.
How she gets a gig I honestly dont know....she mumbles and slurs all her words and talks at 100 mph.
She needs to work on her delivery and her elocution....
