My hoarding is not a disorder ... its just characterised as such by veg nazi commies who want private property prohibited ;) ... my junk yard only covers a tiny portion of my property, cannot be seen from the road, is a problem to no one, except veg nazi commies who want private property prohibited :P ... and every so often a piece of that junk comes in handy when building or repairing something.

So keep yer mitts off my junk, right?!
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

nef my daughters mother in law is like your late mum every corner has stuff in it...every cupboard chocker block shed coming away at the seams..now stuff piling up outside...about 8 years ago my daughter and her husband and boys moved into her house while she was overseas....while they looked for something to buy.. they couldnt get in the door of the bedrooms... so son hired a double skip... A BIG SKIP.. and we filled it up... and still the house was full but at least they could open doors and fit a few of their own things in....since then his mum has filled every corner and the shed up again...its mind blowing..to add to that she has property in Portugal where she goes during our Winter....its too is chocker block ....wall to wall..

and yet when she left in March she had 28kilos of luggage with her.... :rofl :rofl

is it hereditary?

I wouldnt know..

I do believe it has mental issues.......the lady who has shoulder problems... carries a handbag that has 4 of everything in it.. it weighs a ton...I dont think even she knows whats in it...but no one can make her see it...

a couple of years ago things in the house started to fall apart her washing machine started walking across the laundry floor... it really did...the vaccy although making a noise didnt pick up a thing...the fridge held together with masking tape...so her son furious went out and replaced them all..

she was not happy.. he spent her money....she still has all the old worn out stuff in front of the shed ......she has plans for it...
