I thought we had a topic about this but couldn't find it.
It was 25C here yesterday, after weeks and weeks of a "high" of only around 12C. Seems like Summer is coming!
If you thought Friday's 25 degree day was good, here's some even better news: Canberra is set to smash a 52-year-old record on Saturday.
You'll be forgiven if you pull out the bathers and put on the shorts, with the capital forecast to have the warmest September day on record, a balmy 29 degrees.

It's supposed to hit 37 degrees in the western suburbs of Sydney today but it is often 12 degrees cooler on the coast. Right now it is 25 degrees.

It is only 20C here but it is only 11 am! Not that I think 25C is all that hot ... I feel it (and need the air conditioner on) when it gets to 35-38C .... very dry heat here in Canberra so like living in a brickworks on some Summer days.

On Tuesday I walked out of a grapefruit orchard with the shits - not enough fruit for low bin price.
The boss tracked me down to Gin Gin - I was using the WiFi.
Offered me pruning work. I accepted. Done a few times previously.
On Thursday I was pruning lemons, it was 37c - torture.
On Friday I was still pruning lemons, it was 38c - more torture.
Today, Sunday I don't know the temp, but it's a beautiful overcast day.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Currently 18C in Canberra. We had a couple of 25C days a week ago but back to "Spring" again and bloody DAYLIGHT SAVINGS .... I really wish that "they" would stop this nonsense.

It got to 24C here today. Pleasant.
I had an email from a friend on the Gold Coast and she told me that they have to PAY $300 a load to get a water delivery so that their tanks are full? Pardon? Don't they have any dams up there? Last I read it was pissing down in Queensland ....
