Queenslanders are thick in the head and are whining and whingeing about Cyclone Debbie and the reported "like a war zone" rubbish.
Looks like they need Kevni there again to wield his chainsaw!
Goodness me, Canberra had a storm not so long ago and there were trees down all over and fences and roofs damaged, etcetera. Sydney has had torrential rain (like it often does in February/March) and uprooted trees too, no doubt.
Queenslanders in the "cyclone belt" should STFU.

I have been through a Tropical Cyclone way back when in Fiji ... the palms were bent double and the wind was horrendous (and noisy) but nobody panicked ... so we didn't either. "War Zone" ... used by idiotic journos who have never been out of Brisbane.

The Whitsundays is fine for 90% of the year. Fantastic area. Beautiful scenery and sailing around there is to be envied ... I did it in the 90s.Black Orchid wrote:I was thinking about taking an overseas friend to the Whitsundays in April/May but not anymore!!

They advertise April to June as being the best time but there is no good time at present. It's battered!
