TWO men have been charged over a ‘horrific’ attack on a woman along a popular Brisbane night strip in 2011.
In a statement, police said a 24-year-old Auchenflower man was taken into custody about 9am on Wednesday at an Annerley address.
He was charged with three counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of deprivation of liberty.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

In NSW, police arrested a 32-year-old Ashgrove man. He was charged with three counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of deprivation of liberty.
He is expected to appear in Lismore Magistrates Court today.
Detectives will travel to Lismore this afternoon to seek his extradition to Queensland.
Police last week launched a renewed appeal for information about the case.
They allege a woman was walking along Manning Street, South Brisbane on April 15, 2011, after leaving a nearby venue at 11.30pm.
Two men allegedly followed the woman for a short time before forcing her into a lane and assaulting her. She sustained serious injuries
