New Toys
By far, the Kindle Paperwhite.
No need for the Kindle Voyager, ...unless you desire a reading light that auto-adjusts to your retinas.
Thats just going tooooo far.

Re: New Toys
I never imagined I would deviate from the fresh new book-scent of a worthy bestseller large-print hardcover...(about $38) but when you read as much as I do,it's crazy not to these days.
So, I evolved and embraced the new e-reader technology.
How else would I be able to cart 20,000+ books around with me on a cruise ship otherwise?
Notebooks/ipads don't cut it...e-reader wise!
They lack the feel of a real book.
If it's uninterrupted reading you desire... with a real-book feel, then Kindle linked to Amazon is the go.
I sound like a living, breathing advertisement for Kindle /amazon......but unless some of you can recommend something better, then ....
Meh!!!
If you could,....(for less than $10 a month) then by all means, do so.
I'll switch to it if you can.

lol. Yeah, right. Because it's the feel of a book (even if we accept your "real book feel" bullshit), not the concepts on the page, that matter.mellie wrote:Notebooks/ipads don't cut it...e-reader wise!

I don't care what you read it on, just don't buy a device simply to read text files. Consumerist nonsense.
