I must admit that I didn't watch that clip for more than 10 seconds .... plus I can't understand a word of the Yank accent.

Times really have changed. We now read about 10 year old BOYS "raping" their kid sisters.

Dirty Old Men have always been around ..... every Mother told their daughters about them but forgot to tell their sons ........

Question.

Has pedophilia always been this bad or is it because of the media reporting it these days?

I think it has always been around and the shame of it meant it was hushed up letting these pervs get away with it.

Today it is openly discussed and the victims feel freer to take on the perps. Imagine in the old days making such accusation of a person of power. You got nowhere. Times have changed at least in the west. A good thing too.

I remember as a kid being told that a man was offering sweets to incentivise kids to get in the car with him. The prick tried it on when I was walking to school so forward warned I declined the invitation.

I expect that some kid was a victim, the rumour mill ran and the cops were not involved. Nothing in the press.

I was told of the people to be aware of and those to never be alone with. people knew... no-one did anything is my understanding. Small country town syndrome... everyone knows and unless you were of the lowest order... (e.g. a local indigenous) you got away with it.
