Baby Gammy the Abortion

Post by AiA in Atlanta » Mon Aug 11, 2014 8:10 am

The father of Baby Gammy is saying the kid would have been better off as an abortion. I say the father would have been better off as an abortion:
Mr Farnell was jailed in 1997 for sex offences involving three girls aged five, seven and 10 from the early 1980s to 1993.

Had to look up WTF you were on about..... :h

Bangkok: The Thai surrogate mother of a critically ill twin baby abandoned by his Australian biological parents says she is determined to bring him up in her impoverished village with her two children aged six and three.

In a revealing interview which aired on 60 Minutes on Australia's Nine Network on Sunday night, the biological father of baby Gammy has revealed he would have terminated the embryo had he discovered the child's Down syndrome sooner, saying: 'No parent wants a son with a disability'.

David Farnell also told of how his wife Wendy sometimes dresses their daughter Pipah, Gammy's twin, in blue 'remember the little boy', and said his previous urges which saw him convicted for child sex offences have '100 percent stopped'.

The West Australian couple David and Wendy Farnell reportedly abandoned Gammy in Thailand when they discovered his disability and left him with his surrogate mother, 21-year-old Pattaramon Chanbua.

Speaking of the news that baby Gammy had Down Syndrome, Mr Farnell admitted: 'If it would have been safe for the embryo to have been terminated, we probably would have terminated it.'

The couple have been sought by the Western Australian Department of Child Protection, who wish to assess the Farnells suitability as parents since it was revealed that David Farnell, 56, is a convicted paedophile.

Take the kid off them. Convicted paedophiles should not have kids. It has been shown they cannot be rehabilitated.

Totally agree. I haven't read much about this. My eyes tend to glaze over when there is mention of Thailand, surrogate mothers, drugs, paedophiles and a place called Phuket! I know how it is pronounced but it could be pronounced Ffukit. :hush

Ummm.... I also don't think this guy is fit to have a little girl anywhere near him.

They are not very good liars either.
Victim of Gammy's father David Farnell says he should not have children
Date August 23, 2014 - 12:06PM

A child sex abuse victim of an Australian man at the centre of a surrogacy storm says pedophiles shouldn’t have children and she’s disgusted he has a baby daughter.

David Farnell was placed in the international spotlight after a Thailand surrogate mother alleged he abandoned his Down Syndrome son Gammy and returned to Australia with the healthier twin sister, now seven-month-old Pipah.

Questions have been raised over Mr Farnell’s suitability for surrogacy after it emerged he was jailed in 1997 for indecently dealing with three girls.

One of Mr Farnell’s victims, using the pseudonym Sarah, has spoken about the impact of the offences.

"The damage is done and it can take years to repair," she told The West Australian newspaper.

"It’s my belief he should not have any children - not just him, all pedophiles."

The 39-year-old said she feared for Pipah’s safety.

"We need to stop putting these perpetrators first ... because there are so many innocent babies and children that are abused day in, day out," he said.

"It’s disgusting."

Mr Farnell and his wife Wendy have denied abandoning Gammy in Thailand, saying they wanted to take him back to their home in Western Australia.

Phuket is a great place, nef, I spent a few months in Thailand when I was doing my hippy trail thing in my twenties about thirty years ago now but it's probably become a bit sleazier now.
As for Gammys father, I agree people convicted of crimes against children should not be allowed to have custody of any they father after the conviction nor adopt or have legal custody of any kids. Personally I don't believe pedophiles ever stop the lust and if there's lust there's trouble.
