The Things (Dirty) Chinese Do
some of you know i lived in Japan many many years .... Japanese consider Chinese *dirty* .... below is a sampling of things *dirty*
Chinese do that are eagerly reported in the Japanese press:
Two people tragically die after Chinese woman drops her cell phone into a cesspool
How far would you go to save your cell phone?
In something out of a bizarre nightmare that the parent of a three-year-old learning to potty train might have, a Chinese woman who dropped her phone into a cesspool lost not only an electronic gadget, but her husband and mother-in-law as well. More details on this tragedy after the jump.
We’re picking up this story fashionably late, but we wanted to share it with you all the same. As reported by the Huffington Post, which in turn based their facts on an article by the South China Morning Post, a Hong Kong based English-language newspaper, two people died and several others were injured after they jumped into a cesspool to recover a cell phone.
During the last week of May, a woman in Xinxiang City in Henan Province, China dropped her new cell phone which was worth about 2,000 yuan (US$323) into an open-pit toilet that was filled knee-deep with human excrement. Perhaps she was checking her Weibo account or perhaps it just slipped out of her pocket, but either way, it vanished into the cesspool, marking the start of a senseless tragedy.
The distraught woman’s valiant husband tried to placate her by jumping in to search for it, and in turn was shortly followed by his own mother. The woman herself also jumped in, however, all three were soon overcome by the fumes and lost consciousness.
The woman’s father-in-law enlisted the help of neighbors, some of whom also fainted or were injured in their attempt to assist with the operation. Eventually they managed to pull six people out of the cesspool with a rope.
The disastrous chain of events turned from horror into tragedy when the ambulance took over an hour to arrive at the scene, and consequently the husband and his mother both passed away at the hospital. A doctor stated that the cause of their death was asphyxiation.
The whole tragedy was compounded by the fact that the couple have a one-year-old son, who will now grow up without knowing his father or grandmother. Let this be a reminder that we should all remember the irreplaceable things in life, and not take unnecessary risks that value material objects over the lives of real people.
Chinese kid causes a stink after parents tell him to poop in his seat during Delta Airlines flight
Planes are never especially pleasant places to be. Even up in first class, you’re stuck in your seat for hours on end with no chance of stepping outside for a breath of fresh air, and with so many bodies packed into the same metal tube, it’s inevitable that the air starts to get a bit stale after a while. On the plus side, the worst you’ll have to deal with is a bit of body odor or your neighbor’s stinky snack food and not the overwhelming stench of a Greyhound port-a-potty.
Well, unless you happened to be on this flight from Beijing to Detroit last week…
According to the World Journal, an American-based, Chinese-language newspaper which mostly targets Chinese people living overseas, a young boy answered the call of nature on an international flight in a less-than-ideal way, with the cabin of the Delta Airlines flight suddenly being filled with an almighty stench.
The owner of the hot mess was apparently a young boy. Now, your first thought might be, “Hey, he’s just a kid; accidents happen!” But reports indicate that the actual situation was quite different. Apparently, when the kid began to feel that familiar rumbling calling him to the restroom, the adults he was traveling with whipped out some newspapers, spread them over the seat the child had been sitting in and told him to do his business there and then.
Other passengers, of course, noticed the proceedings and asked that the kid be taken to the appropriate place for pooping. But despite the repeated requests, including those from a flight attendant, the kid’s grandfather apparently refused to take the boy to the bathroom. In the end, the deuce was dropped and, as you might imagine, the cabin began to smell like…well, like someone had pooped on a newspaper spread over a seat.
Why did this happen? Why hadn’t the flight attendant demanded rather than politely requesting that the child be taken to the bathroom? Well, according to Radio Free Asia, one Taiwanese airline employee they spoke with said that there aren’t any laws about children defecating on airlines. It sounds absurd, but the employee was quoted as saying that since it’s technically legal, all staff can do is offer “suggestions.” Surely, though, there are laws against a child’s guardians instructing them to go number-two in their seat rather than taking them to the restroom!? Maybe some lawyers specializing on airline defecation can weigh in here?
Of course, it goes without saying that this family’s indiscretion is something we should all try to avoid in the future. Remember, if you’re ever on a flight and you or your little one needs to poop, do your fellow passengers a favor and head to the throne room. This has been a PSA from people with sensitive noses.

The boys parents obviously didn't want to waste good compost.
Re: The Things (Dirty) Chinese Do
yep fucken Chinese are filthy dirty people. just have a look around their shops, especially take aways. fucken pigs and when they eat they spit any bones onto the fucken table like no body's business. I worked for a chinaman when I was younger, nice enough guy he'd shout some piss and have a drink with us, just no idea about cleanliness and food hygiene. had to be fucken taught by his staff. his little son would take a piss in the corner of the fucken kitchen area and no bastard reprimanded I wanted to punch the little fucker round eyed, one of us were left to clean it up. so yeah not a fan of their ways.

They can be somewhat filthy and I absolutely hate the way they spit everywhere. They don't like clutter so they throw everything they don't want into the street and toss their garbage everywhere .. so long as it isn't inside their yard it just gets tossed.
Around here the Japanese hate the Chinese and the Chinese hate the Koreans .. and so it goes on.

will give the japanese credit for not spitting, smoking and throwing garbage everywhere ... was in San Francisco the other week and guess who were outside the hotel lobby smoking? Chinese, of course.Black Orchid wrote:They can be somewhat filthy and I absolutely hate the way they spit everywhere. Both the Chinese and Koreans hate the Japanese but I think that their governments encourage that hate ... I mean, Southeast Asians don't hate Japanese and the Japanese invaded their countries as well ...

Re: The Things (Dirty) Chinese Do
I have a Japanese-born epal who lives in Tokyo. He is a Translator.
Every so often he will email me a question about an English translation that he thinks sounds "wrong" ....... I am happy to oblige .... I have had this epal for 18 years and we have never, ever discussed WW2. Neither of us was born in that era so there is absolutely NO REASON to drag up something that happened 70 years ago.
I have had no experience with the Chinese and doubt there are any in my neighbourhood. I do have a Japanese neighbour though but she is an "ancient" and doesn't speak English.
EVERYONE who has read anything about WW2 knows what a horrible time it was and how POWs got treated. It certainly wasn't Hogans Heros.

If those governments didn't keep that sentiment alive Nanking would be largely forgotten.IQS.RLOW wrote:No doubt, but I dont believe SE Asians experienced anything like the rape of Nanking. Both the Chinese and Koreans hate the Japanese but I think that their governments encourage that hate ... I agree. It is important to let go of the lessons of history.AiA in Atlanta wrote:If those governments didn't keep that sentiment alive Nanking would be largely forgotten.IQS.RLOW wrote:No doubt, but I dont believe SE Asians experienced anything like the rape of Nanking. Both the Chinese and Koreans hate the Japanese but I think that their governments encourage that hate ... I'm pretty sure that Japan has already learned it's lesson, from WWII.
