Rick Rude,
"what I'd like to have right now is for all you fat,
out of shape Los Angeles losers -
keep the noise down while I take my robe off and
show the ladies what a real sexy man looks like -
hit the music."

Re: Wrestling entertainment
Good memories! Bobby.
Great entertainment. I always called Pro-Entertainment Wrestling as 'Soapies' for the Guys.
Sure its 'pre-staged' etc, but the workload of those guys is phenomenal!
So much so, when Brock Lesnar entered into UFC/MMA, etc - he was laughed at.
But he wiped the floor with the lot of them and became Champion, until health issues took their toll on him and he was eventually beaten.
But what he brought into the Cage was a superior workload, impact durability, able to deal with the crowd and intensity of confrontation.
He made the likes of 'real fighters' sit up and respect those in the 'Entertainment Industry' of fighting/wrestling that they could indeed 'compete' at a high level.
I mean - the punishment of the Entertainment guys that they had to put their bodies through was full-on and their durability was proven.
Quite a few Ex-Entertainers have since entered the cages and done pretty well to ok in a respectfully competitive fashion since.
Just goes to show, eh.

When I was a kid I used to love watching the wrestling.
I thought it was real -
I thought they nearly killed each other.
I am now regressing to my childhood as I thought the above 2 matches were great entertainment.

Now there's the ugliest forehead I could never forget.
I never ever liked him, just because of that forehead!
