Running

Post by sprintcyclist » Sun Apr 15, 2018 11:10 am

This followed on my comments in the Winx thread about Usain Bolt .
I used to do sprint work, so have an interest in it.

Bolts big advantage is he does not slow down in the last 40 M's
Other runners do slow down after about the 60 M mark.

Bolt maintains his top speed

Says whom ?, For years everyone thought Lance Armstrong was clean. Bolt trains in his own country and testing is done by the local sports authorities. Im sure there is no corruption in the boondocks lol

People in the cycling world knew of lances drug taking .
It is more usual than not in the tour.
In some of Lances wins the Mayor of Paris and other distinguished people did not appear at the winners ceremony.
I have seen one stage where Lance led the field for 160 odd kms, reached a windy wooded stage and left them for dead.
That is not feasible.

It is evident in the ride the day after a big ride.
If they ride on an alp range day well one day, then ride well the next day .........

I thought I was unique until I mentioned it and EVERYBODY had "just had one", including people at the supermarket, chemist, whatever and it didn't seem to have anything to do with "age" or "results" ... just that GPs were ordering a colonoscopy for all and sundry ... at least it didn't cost me anything (except embarrassment). :rofl

I brings back memories of when I had my prostate checked, just happens my doctor was sick that day, I turn up and there is a female doctor I have never met before, As she is popping on her rubber gloves she tells me this is going to be a sensation I am probably not familiar with, Well that was a understatement she had rather fat fingers lol
