Great job Bobby, today's was a little more difficult than usual I thought, either because as you say, they get harder towards the end of the week or I was just wrecked after Christmas shopping for much of the day and probably shouldn't have said "yes" to a Roblox tournament with the neighbourhood kids when my daughter asked. ..... Thanks for the chess link Bobby, I will definitely check it out, and get back to playing, because I do miss it, but not too may of my friends like playing it, especially after they married and had families. My daughter will love it too, time to teach her how to play, she's like us, puzzle and games enthusiasts.

I think chess is excellent for kids to teach them how to think clearly.
If they sit in a classroom watching a teacher it's like watching TV -
it's not the same as actively thinking for yourself.

Then as we get older chess keeps our minds sharp -
use it or lose it.

Naa, we're both going ok. Haven't lost to the big wordle setters yet, so....

I'm still getting around to Lingle , been Christmas shopping "again" this morning, and afternoon....the crazy things all add up. Like gift tags and bon-bons, the serviettes with Santa's face on them. This year we cut back on friends gifts by buying families a gift to share. Bought friends from church gingerbread cottages they can all build, decorate then eat together.
The gifting gets out of hand otherwise, and given our present economy.......

Wasn't easy, because as you can see, I got nothing in first two rows, so basically had to go through every 5 letter word in dictionary that ended with y and had an s in it.

Horrible, even WITH dictionary
No pleasure at all

But again, if dictionaries are out, I won't do it again.

I feel guilty now, I thought I'd be too stuffed to concentrate properly tonight, but turns out after all the sweets at church, I could do another one right now.

I won't regress to dictionary tomorrow Bobby, I just wanted to get it done before we left, and we've been insanely busy today.

Was the first time I've regressed to using dictionary, so..... I assumed it was going to be a quirky difficult word because it's the end of the week. Turns out I would have got it anyway, was an easy word.

It nearly got me, I need to keep at these, only started them about a week ago, but already noticing the benefits, brain fog wise.
The meds I take for RA and even RA itself causes " brain fog" but I believe you are correct Bobby in that doing these wordles will help keep us as sharp as possible, regardless of whether we score good or bad on any given day. If the puzzle ever beats me, I'll still post it here. Because this will give me an incentive to keep going if nothing else. Theres nothing like public humiliation as an incentive to improve .... and it's all in the spirit of being competitive yet still having fun. I'm going to check out that chess link today Bobby, and give it a go too.

And of course it wasn't RA alone that erased my desire to write.
But whatever the cause, the words are beginning to flow again.
