Good.
how many boring goals did the aussie soccer team get during the whole comp ?

3 or something ?
2 were penalty goals, so they were consolation gifts for cripples.
how many games , 3 ?

Any fights ?

what a boring game.
I'd rather watch paint dry...

Well sorry but I don't agree with you. We have the players. What we need is a DECENT COACH!!
A coach can't succeed without the raw material - star players.
Some of those players are transferred for millions and even 100s of millions of dollars.
We're just not in that league.

Germany are out!

The German media is calling it the "biggest disgrace in World Cup history".

This is the only thing I don't like about soccer. If a team happens to lose, the media and their purported fan base trashes them. No matter how good the team is it is still a game and it all comes down to what happens on the day. Skill, referees, luck and otherwise.
German fans have responded with shock and dismay after the national team suffered their first elimination in the first round of the World Cup for 80 years.

Top selling daily newspaper Bild splashed “OUT!” across its website after the defending champions’ 2-0 defeat by South Korea, calling it a nightmare but adding, “We didn’t deserve any better”.

“The biggest disgrace in German World Cup history. The loss is the embarrassing end to a catastrophic group phase,” it wrote on its website.

In Berlin, the mood was eerily silent. Glum-faced fans in Germany shirts moved slowly and quietly away from cafes and bars./quote]

It was a shock, yes, but to have the media and the fan base kick the team into the ground is lousy.

the media have to sell papers.. and fans well look at the pommie ones they smash things up....

it isnt the majority of fans... you can bet the media singles them out and gets them when it hurts the most....right on the bell....

2.0 is a big loss for Germany.
