The umpiring doesnt improve...nor does our ability to review "out" decisions
(i.e. Burns wasn't out....ball clearly missing leg stump on ball tracker....)
But I guess you expect incompetence these days from all walks of life......

Whoever won the toss had a big advantage

Amazing, the Kiwis won the toss .......... and opted to bowl first.

A mate of mine who played cricket at pretty high levels told me abut winning the toss.
He said, ' When you win the toss 90% of the time you bat first. The other 10% of the time, you go with the odds.'

I played cricket when I was younger.
I could never ever understand how any team winning the toss could send the other team in...
There are too many pluses in batting first....the biggest being that your opposition is out in the hot sun
all day getting tired...worn out...maybe injured...and then they have to bat and chase runs and they then
have the pressure of the scoreboard...whilst coping with mental and physical fatigue....
I don't know the stats regarding success in sending the opposition in, but I would imagine they would
be very poor....
Beyond me...
