What a good sportsman is our Aussie, David Morris! Makes one proud to be a fellow Aussie with an attitude like that!
“10th in Olympics is fantastic. It’s my third games. This is a fantastic competition. Everyone has been putting down huge jumps. Nothing to be disappointed about,” Morris said.
“I can’t argue it. Tough luck for me. That’s how these sports go.”
I am a bit over it now it seems its the same thing over and over....seeing them do the jumps on a board or two skis is basically the same thing to me....and the jumps are all the same....I know I am nit picking......I did see the Japanese skater yesterday superb

Must say that I haven't been following it on TV ... just reading the press online. Australia still does pretty good and always gets several medals ....
Next up the Commonwealth Games up there on the Gold Coast.
It was a shame for the Aussie speed skater, Andy Jung, in the 500m. He got clipped by the American, Tran, and crashed but when the American was disqualified the officials did not advance Jung. Most times the person who is interfered with it advanced but not this time.
Then we had the North Korean skater. I was stunned because it looked like the North Korean looked to deliberately interfere with another skater ... not once, but twice. I was surprised they even restarted the race.
Cheat to win
It’s hard to tell whether Kim Jong-Un would be happy with this or not but it’s going to make headlines nonetheless... juslt likely not in the People’s Republic, where failure is not an option.
However in a truly novice display, 16-year-old North Korean speed skater Jong Kwang Bom faceplanted at the start of heat seven of the men’s 500m and then in a bid to get a restart tried to grab the skate of Japanese skater Keita Watanabe - it’s an ill-advised move, because of sportsmanship... but also those skates are sharp.
Anyway he missed and then upon the restart the two tangled yet again on the first turn, as Jong decided to tangle arms with the Japanese. Getting his just desserts Jong fell and was later disqualified as Watanabe moved on to the quarter-finals.
Watching the Olympic fill in show called the Front Bar and they interview people and put up the Olympic type bloopers. It's really quite funny and they were just talking about the North Korean World Cup ladies team a few years ago. Here is it ...
A giant hole gapes at the center of the Women's World Cup in Canada this summer: Where is North Korea?
After five of its players tested positive for steroids in the infamous doping scandal at the 2011 Women's World Cup, the No. 8 North Korea women's national team remains firmly planted on FIFA's naughty step.
What makes this the most North Korean story possible is the tall tale told to FIFA to explain all of the flunked drug tests. When asked about what is one of the worst doping scandals in World Cup history, North Korean officials said that many team members had been hit by lightning, requiring a traditional Chinese medicine of deer musk gland to be applied. That, they argued, must have triggered the positive tests.
FIFA didn't buy it.
It's the biggest case of doping FIFA have ever dealt with and they all got struck by lightning?
