Greenland

Post by Bobby » Sat Jan 11, 2025 6:30 pm

My opinion on Greenland.

Greenland has lots of: oil, gas and rare earth minerals essential for the United States and the free world.

Trump can't let Putin get them.

China has put sanctions on rare earth metals which are essential for making neodymium magnets
that are used for electric motors everywhere but importantly in the military.
Other rare earths are used in the electronics industry which would collapse without them.
The modern world cannot function without rare earth metals.

Putin has had sanctions put on him over the war in Ukraine -
as a result Russian gas and oil has been cut off and must be supplied
in some other way or the whole world will got into a recession or even a depression.

Greenland is a vital area for the military security of the free world
and to push against Putin's expansionism.

The small number of people in Greenland -
only 56,000 people cannot be
put ahead of the world's prosperity and security.
It has taken someone with balls like Trump to want to do something about it.
If he can't buy it he'll take it by force - you can't blame him.

Trump will soon be our leader of the free world and he will act like a leader.

He won't be asleep at the wheel like Biden.

I think the USA is seeking concessions in Greenland from Denmark in its usual 'security' excuse against Russian possibilities.

If it's Trump? He's a sly Reynard the Fox.
He'll use peaceful politics as solutions and force China and Russia to play along to save face.
Of course the Left will see this as betrayal or collusion to compensate for their own inability to use politics for peace.
The difference is that Trump will force them both to follow his lead and comply now that he has removed their excuse that America is a hostile.
If he's a collider, as the Left accuse. Then what do they call Russians and Americans working together in Space?

Even dopey Joe is trying to claim the medal for a ceasefire in Gaza. But with this meeting to take place a day before Trump is officially made President, we know it's more about Trump, than anything Biden had to offer.

The Left will say betrayal. But with Tom Cruise uttering the line in his last Mission Impossible movie to come out "Sometimes you gotta betray the system to save it."

I think France's inaction to the Moslem threat, while still claiming to be superior to Great Britain and head nation of the EU militarily/politically. Along with the Democrat and ALP inactions have proved to everyone, who is the real betrayer.
