Trump in Hanoi

North Korea has confirmed for the first time that its leader Kim Jong-un will hold a second summit with US President Donald Trump, days ahead of the high-stakes nuclear meeting set to take place in Vietnam’s capital of Hanoi.

The North Korean leader is on a train to Vietnam for the summit, accompanied by Kim Yong Chol, who has been a key negotiator in talks with the US, and Kim Yo Jong, the leader’s sister, the North’s official Korean Central News Agency reported.

TV footage and photos distributed by the North’s state-run news agency showed Kim inspecting a guard of honour at the Pyongyang station before waving from the train.

Late Saturday, an Associated Press reporter saw a green-and-yellow train similar to one used in the past by Kim cross into the Chinese border city of Dandong via a bridge.

The Trump-Kim meeting is slated for Wednesday and Thursday in Hanoi. Their first summit last June in Singapore ended without substantive agreements on the North’s nuclear disarmament and triggered a months-long stalemate in negotiations as Washington and Pyongyang struggled with the sequencing of North Korea’s nuclear disarmament and the removal of US-led sanctions against the North.

I guess the Left will bitch about this as well...

good grief Kim Jong is almost looking human!

I wonder if the dear Leader will really get rid of his nuclear weapons?

I doubt it -
this is all a charade.

He was cheered heading to the train so it's obviously something his people want. Well the ones who aren't brainwashed by his propaganda.

The only people getting rich with these wars is the Military Industrial Complex.

Follow the Money.

Rich elites (Hidden out of sight) and crooked politicians have been getting us into wars all for self profit - they don’t care if ordinary folk die or get wounded fighting their wars for them - we are seen as just cannon fodder.

Correct me if I’m wrong - but i think it was Ford who supplied Military Trucks to the Germans and it was another American Company (rothchilds/Rockafellow?) (Standard Oil i think) that supplied the fuel for their planes.

Cut of that supply and the War would have ended years earlier - Its Sick
But documents discovered in German and American archives show a much more complicated picture. In certain instances, American managers of both GM and Ford went along with the conversion of their German plants to military production at a time when U.S. government documents show they were still resisting calls by the Roosevelt administration to step up military production in their plants at home.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

The alliance of Standard Oil with the Nazis wasn’t well regarded by the US- government, above all after the entered into the war after Pearl Harbour, on December 7th, 1941. Officials remembered an old law, "Trading with the Enemy“, and opened a formal investigation against Standard Oil. The accusation was that the company hid patents from the US-Navy and supplied fuel to German submarines. John D. Rockefeller said that he wasn’t aware of that and Farish pled "no contest" to charges of criminal conspiracy with the Nazis. In March 1942, the Pentagon begged President Roosevelt to stop the investigation, to protect war production and oil supply. Roosevelt agreed. The Company paid a fine of 5000 dollars and promised to stop fuel supply for the enemies.

While the men slaughtered each other in the battlefields in World War II, corporate America was looking for a way of „getting along with their own business“. It was not easy, after the decision of US Congress to enter in the War and to frustrate the pact of Big Oil with the Nazis. For Standard Oil it was a profound defeat. How did they continue with their "own business“? Maybe creating its own intelligence agency? An agency that cared above all for business and not for National Security?

Standard Oil tried to supply Nazi Germany via neutral countries. Standard Oil of New Jersey sent a young lawyer from their legal department to Venezuela, full of petroleum. And in 1940, Socony-Vacuum sent William Mosetti to Argentina. The country was friendly to the Axis but entered only in March 45 into the war against Germany.
