Apparently, John Key is going to have a few words with Malcolm about us talking about deporting about 200 naughty Kiwi crims who haven't become Aussie citizens.

NZ Prime Minister John Key says he feels like Australia is “picking and choosing” which Kiwis to keep in the country and sending back the ones it doesn’t like.

In a sign of the tension over the issue of deportation of New Zealanders, Foreign Minister Bishop said it would be “timely” for new Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to discuss the matter with Mr Key.

The remarks from Ms Bishop came after Mr Key described his meeting on the sidelines of the UN in New York with the Australian Foreign Minister as “pretty blunt”.

The visas of foreign nationals sentenced to at least one year's jail are automatically cancelled, following an Australian Government crackdown last year.

Why should the Australian taxpayer pay for the upkeep of "foreign" criminals in our gaols?

Poor old NZ ... most of their citizens are over here in Oz, earning a crust. Deporting the kiwi criminals is a great idea. Don't we deport ALL "foreign" criminals? Wouldn't other countries do the same? Why would the citizens of a country pay for the "up keep" ($50K plus?) to keep crims in our gaols? Deport them.

What about this Yank who wants to lecture us on "abortion" but was refused a Visa, but still jumped on a plane in LA (or somewhere) and on arrival in Melbourne .... minus VISA ... has been detained.
