This is becoming more and more tyrannical by the day.
The CMO for Qld...Ma Kettle...has decided in her wisdom that Qld borders will remain closed until
BOTH NSW and Victoria have zero virus cases for a month....
I see.....
Point number one...
What happens if one of those states reports a virus after say 26 days of no cases...
Does that mean the month of no cases period starts again....and rolls over potentially for years.....
Can everyone else see just how brainless this stupid women is...…
Anyone could contract the virus at any stage in the future in either of those two states.
Will Ma Kettle concede if a case occurs after 26 days...well that's close enough....lets
open the borders....
That automatically means that the month period is ambiguous...
Lets say a 90 year old man in a wheelchair with underlying serious health conditions in Portland, Victoria
contracts the virus during the month in question.
Portland is over 2000 kilometres from say Coolangatta...
Is Ma Kettle seriously saying that this is sufficient cause to keep the borders closed.....

At what stage does this debacle of state border closure cease to be a health issue and becomes
an economic issue.
At what stage does it become a political issue.
At what stage does it become an election issue.
Qld has an election in October, 2020.
What will Ma Kettle recommend to the Premier if there is a case in Portland...then a week later
there is a case in Bega....a week later... a case in Mildura....
As the election draws close, will the advice regarding border closures change...
Will the Premier in her wisdom decide to open the border....

other States are opening their borders therefore Qld will do the same...

Yesterday in a press conference the Premier was questioned regarding her earlier
statement that borders would open by September, to which she insisted that the decision
to open borders was under monthly review...
The continuing school yard babble comes after Dr Young made the stunning and bleak admission that the tourism industry may have to hold off until September, after saying the “very, very earliest” would be July.
"If the tourism industry wants a more realistic scenario they should be preparing for September," Dr Young said.
So now apparently the tourism industry calls the shots......
I thought it was a health issue and all decisions were made by the "experts"....not someone
running a funpark at Carrara...or a putt putt golf course in Mermaid Beach....
What happened to the month of no cases in NSW and Victoria......aahh forget about it......

Of course our government will never admit to faulty modelling. They will simply tell us that they were advised by the experts and they did what they had to do.
I wonder if Ferguson was one of the experts.
In another article, ZH questions at length the fact that there is no proof that lockdowns work.
I wonder if any studies of the results of lockdowns due to pandemics have actually occurred.

Reminds me of my childhood when I received a coonskin cap for Xmas and Dad made me a wooden
rifle...Davy Crockett (Fess Parker) was my hero in those days....
Mum had my aunt (who was very good at sewing) make me a shirt and long pants with fringing
down the sleeves and legs....all I missed out on was the moccasins......
