The IDF entered the Golan buffer zone last night (Sunday) following the fall of the Assad regime and fears of an attempt by the rebels to attack communities in the Golan Heights area, according to foreign reports.

According to the report, large forces of infantry and tanks were positioned inside the demilitarized zone in order to prevent rebels from entering the area. At the same time, the IDF warned the rebels not to cross the demilitarized zone line.

The Israeli Navy carried out a major operation to destroy the former Assad regime fleet in Syria last night.
According to military sources, numerous Syrian warships armed with sea-to-sea missiles were destroyed in strikes by Israeli Navy missile boats on the Gulf of Minet al-Beida and the port of Latakia on the Syrian coast.
The strikes were carried out to prevent Syrian naval assets and weapons from falling into the hands of hostile forces after the fall of the Assad regime.
The Israeli Air Force has carried out some 300 airstrikes in Syria since the fall of the regime, destroying advanced weapons and other assets
