This is worth a listen.

It's weakening the country and tying the hands of all future Presidents be they right or left. It's all to do with sour grapes and the left's obsessive compulsive hate of Trump. They have no desire to get on with real issues facing the American people. They just cannot accept that Trump won and they must be terrified that they have no hope of beating Trump in 2020 which is why they just cannot stop this insanity. Typical tactics and they don't deserve to win a chook raffle. It's these radical socialist left types who are throwing the world into chaos.

Rolls your eyes back they are full of dust and grit :thumb
Unable or unwilling to answer the questions. Instead, you just consume whatever the MSM serves up, right, Black Orchid as long as it's pro-el Presidente' Trump, right?

Yes Brian I am absolutely terrified of you because you are just so good and I am shaking in my boots at someone so formidable in 'debate' and my sources are just terrible and I really should use Vanity Fair.

I believe they are running an article on Pelosi's 'impeachment wardrobe' that may be of interest to you.

It is just on view - the Fox News extreme right wing MSM's view - of what is happening.

I am not suggesting that impeachment is a good idea. I would much rather see Trump defeated squarely and fairly in an election. However, it appears that el Presidente' Trump has overstepped the mark and called for the Ukrainians to investigate Joe Biden, Trumps likely opponent in the 2020 election. Now, I am unsure what laws Trump has broken in doing that but it appears typically unsporting and unfair on his part and unfair and unsporting but typical on the part of his supporters to defend him doing it.

This though, is an investigation, not an impeachment. If Trump is as innocent as he and his supporters blindly maintain, he won't be impeached. If he is impeached he will be only one of IIRC three US Presidents which have been impeached or had impeachment motions against them - Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon. Nixon resigned before the vote could be held. Johnson and Clinton were let off by the US Senate.
It's weakening the country and tying the hands of all future Presidents be they right or left. It's all to do with sour grapes and the left's obsessive compulsive hate of Trump. "The Left" is a widely diverse group. Some hate el Presidente Trump. Some merely dislike him. Some worry that he is overstepping what is allowed in a President. The last time we had someone as dangerous as el Presidente' Trump in the Oval Office was Richard Nixon. We all know how that turned out, now don't we? The US President is similar to but not identical in their powers to a king in the late 18th century. The US Congress and Senate have been working for 200+ years to curb that power. Should we think twice about supporting a megalomaniac like Trump? Yes, I believe we should.

Oh, dearie, dearie, me. Attacking the source again, hey, Black Orchid? Doesn't work, you realise? Keep trying though, you'll figure it out eventually. Now, either address the subject or bugger off, OK?

67 countries? I know of 29 NATO members that the US is bound to go to war for if any are attacked but who are the other 38 countries, Black Orchid? The US has shied away from committing itself to defend other nations since it signed the NATO treaty.
I listed 69 countries the US has entered into a Defence Pact with.

Except, as I have already noted, only NATO obliges the US to actively declare war on an attacker whom attacks any of the members of that treaty, Black Orchid. All the rest have no obligation except to "confer" - just as the A**US treaty does. Indeed the Kiwis were booted out of the A**US Treaty in 1986. So, how does this obligate the US to defend those nations which are not members of NATO?
I said nothing about them all being NATO countries nor did I say the US was "obliged to declare war" on any country. That was your spin.

So take your own advice and bugger off!

The US is bound by treaties to protect a quarter of humanity and to bear the costs associated with protecting its allies. It's 'obliged' to go to war to protect 67 countries. The US bears the brunt of 72% of all NATO member defence expenditure.
I asked you, how was it "obliged to go to war to protect 67 countries," Black Orchid. You replied with a list that included countries other than NATO countries. I then pointed out again, that only in the case of NATO signatories, is the US obliged to go to war to defend anyone. You are now disputing that was what you said. Really?

All el Prsidente' calls are recorded, Cods. Trump appears to be so arrogant he doesn't care. Remember his call to Turnball when Trump assumed office?
