Ukraine launched air assault with Special forces operators to save Pokrovsk.

There are rumors like this:
Two helicopters. One carried about 10 special operations soldiers, the other was empty. This was obviously a special operation, the purpose of which was to evacuate someone very important from the encirclement, probably NATO military "observers".

Strategy of the unexpected. Good move. But not something that should be used often or Russia will make preparations for such juicy targets.

Surrender of all Ukraine military personnel in one go would be completely unexpected and feeding them would break Russian economy as was planned by Obama but fighting to the last Ukrainian as planned by Boris Jonson and NATO strategists staffed up Obama's hopes :oops

This Ukraine war is most stupid event to ever happen since WW2.
Putin of all people is old enough to know about the horrors and futility of war.
He would have grown up with the stories as a child, being told to him on a regular basis
and learning all about it at school.
He would have suffered the poverty from the recovery from WW2
and the great loss of treasure from the cold war -
which left Russia impoverished as they tried and couldn't compete with the USA.
Even today Russia has an economy only about double the size of Italy or Australia – it's small -
nothing compared to Europe and the USA combined.
Now he has taken them all on in a war he can't win -
just by dollar numbers alone.
Russia is way behind in technology too -
the high tech NATO weapons are killing his troops by about 1,000 per day.

Russia will fall as a super power
Replaced by Australia that will rise.

I believe too many people underestimate Russia. Especially NATO thinking they can keep creeping towards Russian borders.

Australia a superpower? LOL

That sounds like Monty Python fantasy

Like there were no Koren and Vietnam wars after WW2.
Putin is only few month younger then I so I know well the stories being told on a regular basis at home and at our school.

About Russian economy

About Russian technology

About casualties

This is body exchange data verifiable from both Russian and Ukrainian sources. Red number of Russian bodies, blue Ukrainian bodies.
At the moment there are about 5000 UAF soldiers surrounded in Pokrovsk and Kpyansk and they will either surrender or be killed.
