The Holy Grail is what Great Britain stands for - to bring political Peace to the world, when all others (like European colonial powers) fail.
Great Britain will make the highest sacrifice to do so.
It will sacrifice itself for its colonies, not the self preservation like what the others do.

So really Arthur should have been an Emperor or he was a really lame at Military as a King.
