Re: Ukraine is in trouble
IMHO, Putin sees Republicans as rational players.

Anything would be more rational than the current clown show.

Oh Jeeze,

Russia takes Republicans seriously, the Democrats are too subservient, limp, " PC" and predictable, and therefore aren't deemed as a threat to Putin.
There needs to be an element of fear, and let's face it, Trumps ego is bigger than Putins even, and in this instance, I don't think this is such a bad thing.
Putin- fiercely nationalistic, patriotic and unpredictable
Trump- " as above"
Russia has spent the last few years exhausting itself, and is inclined to do whatever the US demands.
Ukrainians Leftard hipsters and proxy militants + benefactors just need to fuck off now.
Even China's backed out already, wants nothing more to do with it.
Shows nearly over.

Re: Ukraine is in trouble
History shows that Russia performs best under extreme pressure.Russia has spent the last few years exhausting itself, and is inclined to do whatever the US demands.
A weightless, soundless yellow leaf
Is falling from a tree.
Of “Autumn Dreams” the old motif
Accordion sets free.
The music makes its sorry sighs,
And in a dreamy haze
My fellow soldiers close their eyes
To listen as it plays.
To this old waltz, we’d hold a hand
When springtime was aglow,
To this old waltz, in our own land,
We loved our sweethearts so,
To this old waltz, we caught the light
Of eyes that were so dear,
To this old waltz, we missed her sight
When sweetheart wasn’t here.
And now, amid the front line wood,
Again we hear that song,
So everyone in silence could
See those for whom they long
And dream of something very own
And of the springs before,
Though each one knows: the road back home
Is charted through the war.
The joyous memories will keep
The soldier's spirit high,
So be it if we're buried deep,
There's just one time we die.
May death amid the smoke and dust
Not stop a soldier's hand,
And may he finish what he must
To destiny's command.
So come, my friends! The time is ripe,
Let steel be forged to spear!
May no one’s hand forget to strike,
No heart be faint in fear!
The time has come, the time of war,
So let our blood be shed
For all that made our lives before,
For all that lies ahead.
A weightless, soundless yellow leaf
Is falling from a tree.
Of “Autumn Dreams” the old motif
Accordion sets free.
The music makes its sorry sighs,
And in a dreamy haze
My fellow soldiers close their eyes
To listen as it plays.
