Bali has become the Mecca for all Australian TV cultured people.

It used to be good pre 1980's when its popularity wasnt commercialised by both Australia and Indonesia. Just a laid back, lazy holiday spot. Even the Backpackers hadn't really added it to its party trail.
Then the Tourist T-shirts began to sell and it was downhill from then on. Let's not forget the great tourism advertisement of the Corby's & Co. Now it's a Swindlers Paradise with drugs and booze and prostitution Hindu style.

Bali has always been a dodgy place.
I have never had any desire to holiday in a filthy place or swim where the back beaches, hidden from the tourists are covered in excrement and garbage.

The only reason our country endorses our tourism of Bali, is to keep Indonesia in our good books, corner, due to the potential for China to exploit them geographically for strategic military purposes.

Bogans don't know this though, and don't mind paddling in beaches with high levels of nutrient content either, aka shit due to poor water quality/monitoring. Let's face it, these TV reality wanna-be celebs are just bogans.

They think it's only the drinks and food they need to worry about. Lol
