Bereavement in the family

Post by sprintcyclist » Tue Apr 06, 2021 8:14 pm

My Father passed away today.
I could not travel to see him recently due to travel restrictions.
He has been unwell and declining for years, I saw him when I could. rang him often.

It's all pretty sad.

thanks all.
It's been coming for a long time and my family has been all working together well.
That makes a big difference.

Sorry to hear that.
The same happened to me in March.
I lost my father too.

One of his sons made his coffin. That is terrific.
They are decorating it, putting artwork on it, the classis Irish poem is on it.

' ...... May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rain fall softly on your fields
And until we meet again
May you keep safe
In the gentle loving arms of God .... '
