It seemed like a paradise compared to now.

I'd never heard of armed home invasions where
old people were beaten to a pulp in the middle of the night
and all their valuables and their car stolen.
This is new - we now have a dystopian society.

There is a 12-15 year wait for Aussies to claim department of housing lodging (probably even longer now) and priority should not be given to immigrants. Look after your own before you swamp the cities with refugees and unskilled immigrants from third world countries.

Last time I checked, Australia is a rich country. We can afford to spend more on social housing. The Tory Governments (both state and federal) however see doing that as a waste of money for some obscure reason and yet you blame migrants? How Xenophobic of you.

Oh, I agree, we need more water. However, where is that going to come from Black Orchid? I suppose you'll just wave a magic wand and it will appear?

Infrastructure is easily built. Perhaps the NSW Government needs to concentrate on the whole of NSW instead of just the North Shore?
