Let's face it - most Aussies are dummies.
When I was at Uni the Asians were always getting much better marks on exams than us.
Aussies would be struggling to get a 50 or a 60 mark but Asians were getting 80s & 90s.


Look at the world.
The Japs made the best motorbikes and most reliable cars -
they were the only ones making video recorders
back in the 80s etc.
Even today - most of the high tech electronics comes out of Asia
although the CPUs such as the Intel Quad cores come out of the USA.

But they are so clever.
We had tough exams in Physics and Maths where rote learning would get you nowhere.
You had to have a really deep understanding of what you were doing
in order to work out totally new problems that you'd never seen before.

Asians do have higher IQs than us -
they are also more mature.
They study very hard as they can see the end goal.
Aussies get sidetracked at Uni playing sport or chasing pussies.

My youngest went to a selective high school where asians were in the majority and they were always at the top because all they ever did was study. They were sent to before school study, after school study, pre uni study in early high school etc. Saturdays and Sundays they all had their heads in their books while the other kids played soccer and footy.

I don't think that makes them any smarter than us and they ended up with absolutely no social skills and are unbalanced in their professions.

If you want to be a doctor for instance you need the balance and the social skills. One university actually changed its entrance requirements for medicine for this very reason whereby you didn't necessarily need the highest marks to get in.

Also -
We educate them and them they go back to their countries
and use that education to beat us in industry -
especially manufacturing.
Only 3% of our total industry is manufacturing now.
Our major money spinner is exporting coal!
That's a sad indictment on Australia
