read the article and you'll find out why you've never heard of her, Black Orchid. It is illustrative of why Women's Liberation came about in the 1960s.

In April 1941, ... are you that OLD Brian?
You might remember these lyrics ....
You might remember these lyrics ....
On the farm, every Friday On the farm, it's rabbit pie day. So, every Friday that ever comes along, I get up early and sing this little song Run rabbit - run rabbit - Run! Run! Run! Run rabbit - run rabbit - Run! Run! Run! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Goes the farmer's gun. Run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run. Run rabbit - run rabbit - Run! Run! Run! Don't give the farmer his fun! Fun! Fun! He'll get by Without his rabbit pie So run rabbit - run rabbit - Run! Run! Run

The Suffragettes had only one objected - to get the vote for women. In Australia, women already had the vote by the time of Federation. In the UK, well it took an Australian to show them the way, now didn't it, Cods?cods wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 6:31 pmand theres me thing that was thebrian ross wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 9:18 amread the article and you'll find out why you've never heard of her, Black Orchid. Appear you've forgotten how women were forced from the workforce, back into the homes by the returning servicemen. If you became married, you lost your job. If you became pregnant, you lost your job. Little things which today are not considered work preventing, Cods. Watch "Women in Black", Cods to remind yourself what it was like in the 1950s in Australia (if you were here, then). Great movie. I've recommended it to my daughter. Well produced and acted. Life was different then, very different. Is it so surprising that Germaine Greer hit a chord?

Read a little of the disgusting practices of the suffragets in the UK.
They would do ANYTHING to get the vote
Terrorism.
Hounding men to suicide
Typical of people who see their way as the only way.
And what have we all gained from women getting the vote really?
Family breakdown
a rise in the LGBTIQSELFISH presence
Uncontrollable children
Feminism to ensure women only safe places, but men are not allowed to have any.
Oh, and we still have parasites in power
Except now many are women who are far nastier than men
Maggie Thatcher
Juliarrrrrrr
Browyn
Sarah Hanson
Nasty, nasty pieces of work
Yep giving women the vote was soooooooooooo advantagious

I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

Keep them silent, behind closed doors and in the kitchen? You should convert to Islam. Your views on women would be a perfect fit.

I do not wish to oppress, or denigrate women.
They were on a good thing, but they do tend to vote with their hearts more than their minds. This is how many charsamatic and infantile leaders have managed to achieve power.
And if you believe that women pre- vote had any less influence on the world at large, you are seriously and sadly mistaken.
Politics is a dirty, back stabbing, nasty business
Engaged in by narcissistic, bombastic horrid creatures.
The majority of women are not suited to this environment, as is demonstrated in the latest cries of misogynistic behaviour.
They treat men no differently than women, but women are appalled.
I for one, would like to see true Roman Senate in practice
With real knives being used.
I respect most women
But some I find repugnant
Juliarrrrrrr is one of them, as is Bronwynnnnn
Neither is a true woman in any way, just pseudo men, and incompetents at it.
