Random acts....

Post by mellie » Tue Jun 05, 2018 4:52 pm

Of kindness.

An elderly woman damaged my car attempted to park next me several weeks ago.

All good, she was lovely and, apologetic and insured.

One day before I was due to take the car in for repairs, last Sunday, some dero did exactly the same thing, but despite a good Samaritan (nice guy) standing in front of his vehicle, he drove off anyway. I didn't bother reporting it because I assumed the smash repairs would fix this too because it was so close to the elderly woman's damage. Anyway today when dropping off the courtesy car and picking up mine, I noticed the most recent damage had not been repaired, only the damage the old lady did. Understandable. I told the smash repairs owner who said " hey you should have told me I would have fixed this for you too.," He asked me why I didn't mention it, and I said because I didn't think he was obligated to fix the new damage also. Anyway, he's told me to take it back in next week, and he's going to fix it for free.

Lovely man.

Nice BigP.

Why the guy who hit me drove off is anyone's guess. Drunk, unlicensed, uninsured, who knows.

I mostly get scrapes and dings at the shops and only find out days later... my car has been used by my son in law as a crime scene murder scene car... lolol... he was looking for a wreck....he got his students to clean it for me....no they didnt fill it full of blood.....at least thats what he said..I live in hope he loves his mother in law.

This guy was at least 60. I'm thinking given the shape of his battered up old bomb, he was uninsured or even unlicensed.
A guy in his 30s , the good Samaritan stood in front of his stationary car, telling him he'd hit me, when he stopped, we thought he was going to do the right thing, but as soon as good Samaritan moved to the side, he took off. I got photos and even a shot of the good Samaritan trying to stop the prick. I'll show you...

Two of us took photos of him and his bomb and he just didn't care.

Typical feral bogan.

"My car's shit, so who cares about anyone else's."

This is their attitude.

Anyway, all good.

Being sorted.

Many disrespectful people about, age doesn't seem to be a factor in this incident.

60sh, lol.

Anyway, my car was repaired from the nice elderly ladies damage several weeks ago, I was given a courtesy car to use, and they detailed my car and I'm taking it back next week to get repaired from deros minor damage next week free of charge, so all is good.

Just annoys me when people do this to others property and could care less.

If it were me, I couldn't apologise enough, because insured or not, it's an inconvenience.

Explaining why that naughty man hurt our car and just drove off to my 5-year old wasn't a joy.

:roll

99% of the crap on my car is done by someone who drives off..... its always parked when it happens...I did manage to scrape one of those bloody pillars in under ground parking places....the pink paint is a witness....but everything else its like a black and blue doll... poor girl like me a bit too old to bother fixing up....
