I had salmon with mushrooms and potato wedges for new year's dinner.

How do I make the potato wedges?

Slice the washed spud up into thin slices.
Place evenly on a large plate and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Fry them in a large frying pan for about 4 minutes per side in olive oil.

I got a Mistral Air Fryer for $54 down from $74.
Tonight is my first go. Two NZ Hoki fillets with some chips.
Cooking now and hope it works out.

Dinner last night:

It was very nice indeed.

Chips and Hoki fillets turned out good but I need to get that non stick spray as cleaning the little grill was hard work

I love my air fryer and never spray the basket but mine seems to be very easy to clean. If you're cooking bacon or anything that might drip fat make sure you pour a bit of water into the base of the air fryer.

Any pictures of the air fryer in operation and the results? :)

Lazy Chicken Kiev? Love it. Here’s a super easy version that gives you all the buttery, garlicky goodness without the hassle of stuffing and breading:
Lazy Chicken Kiev

🕒 Time: ~30 minutes
🍗 Serves: 2
Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
2 tbsp butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
1 tbsp fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika (optional)
½ cup breadcrumbs (or skip for even lazier version)
1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Mix butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
Spread the butter mixture over the top of each chicken piece.
(Optional) Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for some crunch.
Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Serve with mashed potatoes or a simple salad.

Boom—Lazy Chicken Kiev with minimal effort but max flavor. 😎 Want to make it even easier? Cook it in an air fryer at 180°C (360°F) for about 15 minutes!
