Just don't drop lid in sink full of water as the lid is the ovens element and engine itself. Like my poor mum did ๐Ÿ˜

Just place on bench top, mine lives on our bench top.

I especially love how I can roast meals without heating up our whole house.

No need for pre- heating, it's instant. More $$ saved!

Cooks everything a regular oven does, plus grills. Can even place frozen veg directly on tray a few minutes before meats finished and save on washing up.

There's heaps of sites and fb pages dedicated to the Fantastic stuff they can do, so I won't annoy you any further about it. But I sincerely hope Santa brings you one Bobby, you will be chuffed with it. ๐Ÿ˜€

I had a chicken Maryland tonight with a spud and veges.
The chicken and spud was cooked inside a stainless steel pot with a plate on top for one hour
on the lowest temperature on my smallest gas element.
I put Worcestershire sauce and white pepper on it to improve the flavor.
It was quite good.
Enjoy Bobby, it looks great. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you tried fresh water Yabbies?

My eldest daughter catches them locally ( special spot) and she loves them.
I have yet to try them myself however.
Yes, we have them in local fresh water streams but they are small unlike yabbies in dams west of Broken Hill.

You have to be careful handling them after catch, too easy to get poisoned if they die before cooking.
Boil them on the spot or keep them in a container with fish tank air pump. Another trick is to put in the container stinging nettle if available.

I like chicken Maryland cut.
I make garlic herbs butter and put it under the leg's skin with small spoon, then massage it to distribute the butter.
After that about 1hr in oven and finish under grill to brown and crisp skin.

Going to do chicken wings tonight, have them covered with Vegemite and sprinkle with dry herbs with sesame seeds mix.

Sounds good ๐Ÿ™‚ But I am yet to be convinced re- Vegemite as a marinade ingredient, especially when it's white meat.
I do a very basic soy marinade for my wings and drums
She likes them ..
Ketchup Manis ( ABC brand) next to soy sauces in shopping isle.
Honey
Half tsp garlic powder
Pinch white pepper
Good swig olive oil ( mild/ light)

That's it, very simple marinade.

But tonight we are having steak and 2 different salads and corn cobs.

And tiny little bread roll on side. Buttered freshly baked from my turbo oven.

The pre- baked baby rolls, not baking them from scratch today. :c
And one of the salads is pre- bought pasta salad, just a little on side goes a long way and tastes nice with steak too.

And a home made garden salad, mixed salad greens, ( from my garden) capsicum, cucumber, shredded carrot, radishes from neighbours ( sweet, not hot) and a French dressing. Kraft :c

Pretty basic, just a slap together.

I gave my neighbour some rocket and assorted salad greens in exchange for her radishes which are small, but not hot.
I gave her a bag of lemons too.

I will use my cast iron char grilling pan to cook steak on gas hob, we can pretend we are having a bbq ๐Ÿ˜„

Simply steak and salad.

๐Ÿ™‚ Oh and if she wants desert, fruit and custard or yoghurt.
Up to her.

Actually, these little radishes are quite hot this time ๐Ÿฅต
I might have to skip them for her.

Just fush 'n' chups for us tonight, and salad ( home made)

It's warm here today, so nice and simple.
