I dont know whom posted this, My 21 year old daughter suffers from major anxiety, She cant get into a lift if there are more that a couple of people in it, She has an IQ in the top 15 percent and a A grade Uni student, but on occasion is crippled by it,

I know somebody who had a similar problem. A-Grade student, very confident until late in Year 10. Suddenly, panic attacks, wouldn't go to school, etcetera. She got ostracized by her peers.

Eventually, sent to see a Psychiatrist (6x1 week free consultations)... came out Great! Now 2 years later, no problems, at all. I think she may have needed some medication. Obviously, needed to talk to "somebody" about fears, etc and was reassured that NOBODY would know anything .. got it all o.u.t.

See whether there is something around your area. Worth checking out and having a"referral" to.
