We have Butterfly Sanctuaries in Australia too. This one is advertised as the largest in the Southern Hemisphere.

There is a Butterfly Farm in Sydney but I have never been there. I looked for their website and saw Butterflies and Moths pinned to display boards. I can only assume they have live ones too!
When I did Applied Science I had to catch bugs, kill them with Formaldehyde then pin them to a board for presentation. On about my 4th attempt I noticed that a Moth I had pinned several days beforehand started to flap its wings!!! I felt absolutely horrible for torturing it and went out and bought the rest from a dealer.
I still feel bad about it
