I don't think I want to tell you what "sheep shaggin" means in American. We usually associate it with muslim terrorists and goats.

That's what I used to call Indians and Pakis... (I had a lot of telemarketers pissing me off, until I figured out how to get rid of them)

In Australia we call NZers sheep shaggers. In turn they call us kangaroo fuckers. If you shagged Jacinda Adern, you'd be a horse fucker though.

I think our American friends have come a long way in understanding Aussie lingo since the Internet.

I recall on some Chat Board, way back in about 1995, some American mentioned being "pissed", and I explained to him that, in Australia, being "pissed" meant you were drunk - being "pissed off" meant being annoyed .... Aussies do have a colourful language and the Americans I met, way back, were ever so polite .... they have caught up with us now though. :rofl

Talking about "hobbies", I know a lot of American ladies who do quilting. I started "patchwork" and didn't get very far with that. Quilting is something entirely different.

When my daughter was little, I joined a Group through the local Play Group thing, where women congregated at somebody's house, with their sewing machines, and everybody sat around "making stuff". I didn't last very long - it turned out to be mostly a gossip session about the person who hadn't turned up that day. I find that behaviour to be a waste of time, not to mention, rude.

Groups of females has never been my thing, for obvious reasons.

I feel confident it means the same in the States as it does here, lol

Its a bit of a standing joke in Australia that all New Zealanders are sheep shaggers ,,

I have my grandmother's sewing machine. I'd like to learn to quilt. My mom would teach me if I can find the time.

I keep posting pictures
But none actually show.
Bloody frustrating.

I post on other forums regularly, and have no problems
Why can't I post on this one?

What message are you getting when the picture won't post? Maybe the file is too big and you need to reduce it.

They don't just 'not show'. You will get some sort of message.

I have reduced them down to 48 kb, and they still won't show.

I drag the pictures to the right place
They show the list of pictures or picture
It has an option to delete, which I make sure I dont.
And then I post,
Sometimes it takes forever to post, but still no pictures.

I give up.
