Not all of them would be on the same small Forum. You would have to be dead unlucky to use the anonymising proxy being used by a genuine other poster on these Boards.

Monk was the first poster to announce publicly the proxy he was using on here. Are you unable to wrap your feeble mind around that fact and that other posters may have thought to use it considering your history with revealing personal information...

I announced the proxies I was using at the time this board had DNS problems because FD asked people to say how they managed to long on.

Despite what some people tell you (including those selling stuff to dumbos to "hide" your IP), your IP address will NOT lead others on the internet to your "front door", or anywhere within cooee of it. Talk about paranoid.

All the IP tells you is which ISP you use and very approximately where you are.

Sometimes my IP address puts me in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. I am in Canberra as everybody knows. "Canberra" (also known as the ACT) covers a lot of hectares, including Namadji National Park ...... 235,800 hectares to be exact.. I dare you to find me via my IP addy.

Actually Nef, if a poster was using their work network to post here, many businesses have static IP addresses - this will reveal said business and someone like Aussie or Monk could track you down or ring the company to cause problems for you.

Look at what he did with Mattus's private information and Mattus's reaction to the stalker contacting him at work. You will note that Mattus only returned after Aussie no longer had the controls...

The only people who obsess about IPs are the idiots here who keep mentioning it. Anonymising proxies have traditionally been banned at PA. If this 'AnimalMother' is the real deal, he will confirm that to be the case.
