Hopefully they will show up by 5.00 pm then.

I just had the carpet cleaned and am sitting around trying not to walk on it and just air the house out. I watched Celebrity and now I am watching Judge Judy!

Best of luck lol. I went down country this morning and purchased a couple of wiener pigs, and Interestingly enough had breakfast at the pink pig cafe in Maramarua, I had only had them home for 10 minutes and the little shits made a break for it, I caught one before it left the property and my son Harry chased the other through 4 properties and caught it in a culvert 500 mtrs down the road, That boy is a fucken star

If they're not here by 4 it will be shit because I need to show them where I want it. 15 mins before I go nuts.

I had NBN installed last March. Set it up myself. Easy. However, I am still getting mail from NBN Co advising me that we have NBN in my street and to "get it now", they even mention the address. Surely they KNOW that I already have "signed up"?

Sprint.

I kept my current ISP, who sent me an email saying that NBN Co would be in my Street on such and such a day. I was advised that I might be "offline" for a while as they set it up. I saw the NBN truck across the Street so knew "they" were here. LOL

My ISP had sent me the Modem .... and I had to set that up myself .... that's easy.

If you are getting FTTN you set it up via a modem, sent to you by the ISP you are signed up to, with instructions. I gather that FTTP is where they need to enter your premises to install the "box".

Oh, and you get the "speed" you pay for! IF you want the fastest it will cost you $100 .... if you are happy to just have good connections and don't download much, get the cheapest $60 ... phone included.

I figured out that I was paying $40 for the ISP plus $30 for the landline, so when I signed up for NBN with the same ISP I got the cheapest ($60) so I saved 10 bucks .... I can still watch movies online but don't play online games and there is only me here so no "drain" on connections.

NBN in my experience has been very stable.

Don't expect the speeds you are promised though because you just won't get them.

I do. I signed up for 9.9 Mbps ($59.99 a month) and last I checked I was getting 11.94 Mbps.

NOBODY will get 100 Mbps and that will cost your $100 a month.

At the speed I have I can watch movies online ... it might be different if you have several people connected and downloading at the same time ... I don't know.

At the very lowest speed you are bound to get higher though. It would be hard to get less.

I pay for 100 Mbps but don't get that. I pay $10 more per month and I also get phone with unlimited local calls, unlimited calls to mobiles, unlimited national calls and 100 overseas minutes per month.
