Sounds like you and your Mrs have thought through this well and are experienced travellers.

Id love to travel too some day, in a campervan even. But need to sort my motion sickness first.

Trying something new when I go on a cruise with my daughter and my parent's later this year.

An injection.

 ........ if this works then I'll jump for joy.

I used to get bad sea sickness.

What helps me is to stand and keep the horizon horizontal.
Sway against the boat movement, effectively keeping your head stationary.

Boats? BLEH you can have them. There is no escape if you get really motion sick.

it works for me.
Overall try to cancel out the movement of the boat, pretty much have to stand up if it is bad.

If the boat rocks forward, you lean backward.
If it rocks to the left, you lean to the right.
Keep your torso and head vertical.

It takes awareness and is a good exercise for legs and torso.

Sounds like way too much effort to me just to try to stop from being sick :b

Give me a land holiday any day.

Spend time on the deck, keep moving and have a few drinks,

Lol, I'd rather try the new injection and enjoy myself.

Without having to position myself or look a certain way.

Can only try, this is why it's just a 3 night Carnival sampler cruise around the bay.

I really do suffer motion sickness baldly, I even get it riding on rides that spin round and round. Like flying chairs and of course the vomitron. Lol

Takes me day's to feel normal.

Think it's got something to do with me having an immature ear canal.

So one Dr advised year's ago.

Not sure if it's the cause of my severe motion sickness though. :?
