Just a short one because I suffer with motion sickness. Will need to get a prescription from GP before we go.

Philip Island is another option.

If we go on a cruise, it will be a sampler cruise around the bay first.

The spirit of Tasmania was a shocking, I rocked and felt ill for days afterwards.

The company didn't help, lol.
A moderate amount of alcohol will help with the motion sickeness

Lol. I had a few on the Spirit. Didn't seem to help.

I even got motion sickness on the vline bus from Bacchus Marsh to Ballarat yesterday

Vline train broke down at Southern Cross.

I'm fine if I drive, seems to occur if I'm a passenger.

New prescription medication is very effective I believe.

They sell it on cruise ships for $100+ so better to take it on board with you for much less.

Besides, I'm not a big drinker, only at church these day's and it's non alcoholic. Lol

Only for special occasions now.

I get hangovers after only a couple.

Besides, it suits me being the designated driver.

Kill two bird's with one stone.... no motion sickness or hangovers.

just done an overnighter to the Sawpit camp grounds...

it is in the Bush at Narrawong ... they have fire pits etc but I prefer to us my Ozpig as its warmer (especially on the feet) and you can cook on it as well ..

so lots of gum trees... Kookaburra's, Parrots, Corawongs, Kangaroos, and even a Brush Tailed Possum..

I chucked a bit of banana out to the birds but they turned their noses up at it and came and drank the fat off the BBQ plate where I had cooked sausages for dinner...

then.. as soon as it was dark... this possum snuck in and took the banana... lol

once I hear a Kookaburra laughing then thats it... my camp over is complete.. . :bgrin

Tomahawk Steak and vegetables for tea... we shared one piece of steak... it cost nearly $16 for one piece...

Sounds awesome Mechanic, but I think I would be taking my own steak.

I prefer to cook my own meals anyway.

BTW... if I lived in Ballarat I'd be camping up at the Grampians twice as much as I do now...

Beautiful spot...

I mainly go to the Plantations Camp Grounds ( Free ) out Mount Zero Road... heading towards Roses Gap..

Really, omg, I've never seen the grampians. I doubt my motorised shopping trolley would climb the hills. :bgrin

I know, I really aught to get out a bit more.

We're starting to.

Now we are settled.

you have to be kidding me..

one of the most beautiful places in australia... Great Hiking tracks all about... some hard.. some easy and pleasant ...

even at the caravan park at Halls Gap have individual fire places and you can fire up!!! they have wood at the front office if you haven't got your own...

there's lakes nearby for fishing... and a dam... I don't recollect right now what their names are.. Lake Fynes?? :huh?

Kangaroos, Kookaburra's, Currawongs, Cockatoos, red bellied Robins (if you are lucky) wallabies ... Cafe's and ice creams :bgrin
