So far so good with the tree and the mad cat. Only a quarter of the decorations are on the floor and only one branch is bent to the ground and severely deformed. Fingers crossed

My Christmas tree is up and decorated. No cats around here to be attracted to the baubles!

I have all presents here waiting to be wrapped before putting them under the tree. Cards have been sent, and guess what? I already forgot someone. I only send cards by snail mail to people I've know for eons and who I haven't contract with via the Net ... the rest I send an e-Card.

I am down to about 7 cards via snail mail. They expect a note telling them that I am still alive, etc.

My Mother did that and always included a letter and if she did not get a timely response she would say "Oh I think so and so must be dead I did not get their annual card and letter".

It still makes me shiver lol

I have friends I went to school with in Melbourne. Plus Old Aunties and so forth. I certainly do NOT write a letter, just a few lines in the card with "Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year. I am well ... blah blah"

I am a little upset at the moment as I heard that a former neighbour died on the weekend. She turned 93 in November. I have been expecting it but .... sad this close to Christmas.

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you all have a good celebration of the birth of Jesus and a good holifay too. That is a real attractive photo of you Neferti. You seem a very happy person. I do look like Spock a bit. I have high upturned pointy eyebrows byt I don't have a bowl cut thank fully. Lol.
I wonder what the smell of a Black Orchid is like? Do you know Black orchid? I'm sure it would be pleasant. Hope you all get heaps of presents.
