Why have a word filter (.)y? No filter at the real PA, use of four letter words is discouraged in Politics and there are not many four letter words used at all.

Total discouragement needed is just this:

For serious discussion of politics and AGW. Excessive use of strong language and offensive personal remarks about a poster probably indicates your case is weak.

Oh yes, I remember, (.)y knows this bit:

Swearing is allowed—I'm not your mother—as long as a post is not just pure invective. When discussing Political events/situations etc use of strong language probably indicates your argument is not very well based so swearing should be minimal there. Think of others who may well be offended.
