I don't see this as a petition but rather a discussion thread,

I don't agree with the change either. The magic number being low only makes it an issue for now.

We have never managed to agree on a change to the constitution in the past. There have been many attempts.

So it has stood the test of time.

Wrong! FD proposed a change and it was voted in. Can’t remember the details for sure, ask FD.
