It has changed form many times. I have learnt a lot.

I like it! What kind of finish are you going to put on it. You might want something durable on the interior, if your tools will scratch it up.
I'd leave the exterior as natural as possible.

There was a fellow at a gun show selling epoxy cutting boards and serving trays. He even made wood and epoxy salt and pepper shakers. We talked shop for a bit.

I am feeling you.
When it gets scratched up inside, that improves it.
When the rope handles get stained with use, that is perfection.

Am thinking Danish oil, inside and out. Things get dry and crack here.
Any suggestions?
