Mary and max.
Stop motion plasticine characters.
At first I thought it a kids movie, but as it got into it I realised it wasn't,

watched a weird movie today
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

I had to google it.
A long-distance friendship blossoms between two unlikely people, an eight-year-old lonely girl and a forty-four-year-old morbidly obese man, through letters.

It was a weird movie.
Sort of morbidly funny.
I did like the ending though, sad but comfortingly gentle.

One has to fight and struggle to survive.
The meek, the generous, the gentle are eaten alive and their bones spat onto the ground.
My wife is a gentle and generous soul, prefers to think people appreciate kindness.
Rarely is she thanked and occasionally people try to take advantage of her.
But what these people do not see is the lurking nasty beast protecting her.
I do not forgive, forget or accept.
The world is a horrid place, and sometimes the simple things in life are the best.
A good movie shows this and can surprise us in its simplicity.
